ARTIST STATEMENT

The body connects in the most unusual ways. To make sense of these entanglement of memories, limbs, and thoughts would be the greatest achievement in life. Intersectionality of human identity is to be explored again, and again, and again. Never fully understood. I see you through myself. To know you is to ask, observe, and interact. So, I ask, observe, and interact. I present my art as a bridge between us. See how we mold like clay, move like paint, wrinkle like paper; see how art imitates life. I utilize various art techniques to best convey the subject at hand. Here, in my art, we will intersect, you will know more about me and me of you. So, I encourage you to ask, observe, and interact. I let time and thought mold the artwork, conversations with and about the subject dictate the movement.
